How do you find brand new caches online to try for a First To Find?
This has probably been mentioned before but the forum search tool doesn't seem to be working. It always returns an error.

I would like to comment that it would be nice to have the search by waypoint field availabe on all geocaching.com web pages.
Trying to post a message to the forum...it happened a few times today.

PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 45 seconds exceeded in E:\Inetpub\forums\GC\ips_kernel\class_db_mysql.php on line 457 PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 45 seconds exceeded in E:\Inetpub\forums\GC\sources\ipsclass.php on line 1111
I'm trying to create a PQ to identify those caches in my area that have an active Needs Maintenance attribute. I've selected the proper attribute in the matrix at the bottom but what I get is a list of all the caches that ever had a Needs Maintenance log. Most of them already had an Owner's Maintenance log posted which cleared the Needs Maintenance flag. If you look at the cache page itself, you see that the red cross is no longer there (i.e. it's been cleared). How do I get just those caches that have an ACTIVE Needs Mainenance flag?

I like to fix caches as I find them but rarely want to make two trips to the cache if I don't know what it needs. I bring the "normal" stuff, like new log pages, new ziplocks, etc.
I can call up a logging page for a cache and have the log type preset with

CODE
http://www/geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?WP=GCXXXX&LogType=2

But I have not been able to figure out a way to set the date. Is this possible?

TIA,

Jim
How about a pocket query that returns a GPX or KML with the coordinates of where my travelbugs and coins currently are?
Hello,

Hopefully I'm not missing this somewhere, I know you can search on A word, or A ID but can you do both?

Something that would be nice to have would be the ability to do a multiple key search and then download as gpx.

For instance, look for "Train" and "Railroad" from a given set of coords or zipcode and then save as a PQ and GPX file. The current search by word works well but it doesn't organize the results nor can you download them all at once(at least not that I can see) an option just to download the results would be great. One could then use any number of 3rd party utils to organize how they see fit.

thanks

Is there any way to download more than one cache at a time to my GPS? For instance, I'd love to be able to download everything from my watchlist at one time. We're planning a trip next week, and I don't want to sit and download all of them at a time...it will take me forever! unsure.gif

Is there a way to do this??

Any help is greatly appreciated!
I just posted over in the TB Forum, and an idea occurred to me that I want to mention here for the next website enhancement effort. It would be cool if someone who knows he'll be traveling to city or country x could search for any TBs in his area that have that as a travel goal.
It appears that sometime recently a 'change' has been implemented in the displaying of cache page logs.
If there are multiple paragraphs in a log the second and subsequent paragraphs seem to be spaced differently than the first paragraph. Not quite double spaced, perhaps 1.25 spaced?

Is this some kind of HTML hiccup? I know it's not desired by at least a couple of people whos logs do not appear the way they want them to.

I'd paste an example here but the formatting doesn't carry over from www.ge0©@¢h1ng.com to forums.g®0und$pe@k.com
